We offer a large double room with en-suite bath/shower room and space for an additional (folding) bed, a second double room with en-suite shower room, and a twin room and a double room which share a bathroom and can be booked as a family suite at a reduced rate for families of two adults and two children aged 12-17.
Each room has satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet, hairdryer, hospitality tray and slippers for your comfort. There is a large guest sitting/dining room with Sky TV (including Sky Sports) and DVD facilities together with a log fire on cooler evenings and extensive library. Children aged 12+ and pets are welcome.
Walkers and cyclists are welcomed and we can offer secure storage in our locked garage for bicycles and motorcycles. Service washes on request and drying facilities are available when necessary.
Light suppers or full evening meals are available at Drynachan Beag by prior arrangement.
Alternatively evening meals are available at the local hotel/bar in Invergarry
and there are several choices of places to eat in Fort Augustus. There is a reliable local taxi service for those who don't
wish to drive.
We overlook Loch Oich where sea otters have been seen. Behind the cottage is the Great Glen Cycle Path and Drynachan Wood, which is inhabited by red deer, red squirrel, pine martens and many species of wild birds.
Invergarry is an ideal touring base, situated in the heart
of the Great Glen. The Great Glen Cycle Track (Fort William to Inverness) is
directly above the bungalow and is ideal for mountain bike
enthusiasts.The local area is excellent for walking, climbing, pony trekking, cycling, water sports and fishing, as well as Munro and Corbett 'bagging'.
Take a walk along the Great Glen Cycle Track, accessible on foot direct from our garden, and see beautiful views across Loch Oich and along the Great Glen, lots of wildlife and in late spring the foxgloves and rhododendrons are magnificent.
